A Ministry to Parents

God has given us an area of ministry of vast importance that has really been neglected in most of our churches. As Christians, we have done little to expand our educational efforts into a complete program for parents and students, until now. In church, we have children's ministry, youth programs, junior high, senior high and college programs, ministries to adults, seniors, couples and to singles, but nothing specifically designed for parents

THE NEED

We have counseling programs and try to help kids when they are pregnant or contemplating suicide or when they are on drugs, but there are no adequate programs that will help parents educate their children and deal with these vital issues. Programs that are designed to prevent these problems before they happen. We have family ministries, mostly related to marriage problems and the need to have a loving, Christian environment in the home, but little is done to provide parents with the tools to fulfill this need and to properly educate their children

We have Christian schools and home schools, but many times we simply teach secular knowledge and add Christianity to it or add Scripture without fully developing a true Christian philosophy and framework for knowledge. Again, we have neglected to build a Biblical Framework based on eternal values for our children and ourselves.

THE SOLUTION

The need then, is great and we must move forward with God's help, since we feel He has given us the solution in this new program for parents. Now is the time to move forward and fulfill that which God has shown us as a ministry to parents. With your help, we will do just that. We can truly implement this ministry to parents and see the results in the lives of our children.

Finally we can take the truth of God's Word while building a Biblical Framework for all of education directly into Christian homes and ultimately into the lives of children. As we are able to train Christian students, equipping them with answers, it is our goal to have them take these truths into public school classrooms all across America and what we hope to accomplish with this program for parents.
